North Sea Systems’ Project Manager, Mungo Morgan presented to the regional IMechE members in Dorset on 1st May at the Weymouth College. Mungo provided a full discussion of the reasons why tidal energy is such a great potential source of energy for the UK, especially Dorset. He also detailed NSS’ work to date in realising one of the biggest challenges for the fledgling industry – how to reliably and accurately capture environmental and engineering data from tidal sites using our DataFish survey system.
