Empire Wind 1 is located 15 miles off Long Island USA and, when complete, will deliver 810MW of energy into New York.
It is being built by Equinor, a global leader in energy infrastructure. North Sea Systems was contracted to provide two CableFish systems to this project to support two different clients tasked with installing two separate sections of export cable. The projects are currently ongoing and are expected to be complete towards the end of 2025.
