Ocean Science & Technology has published a technical feature examining how Impact Subsea instrumentation supports real-time cable touchdown monitoring within North Sea Systems’ CableFish® system.

The feature looks at the role of the ISS360HD imaging sonar, ISA500 altimeter and ISD4000 depth sensor in providing continuous acoustic imaging, accurate depth and altitude information, and reliable data during subsea cable installation. It also highlights CableFish’s ability to operate in shallow water and strong currents, including conditions where conventional ROV operations may be restricted.
